Hiring  Multiple Garden Center & Gift Store Positions Available

Multiple positions available: P/T to F/T Hours

We are looking for Indoor Associates, Merchandisers, Outdoor Associates, and Bulk Material Loaders

Looking for hardworking and plant loving team players

Requirements:

Be 18 or older

Customer Service experience is required.  

We are open 7 days a week: Weekend availability is required

Must wear a mask

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Customer Service:

• Greeting customer promptly and eagerly upon entering the Garden Center
• Servicing customers with plant material, bagged goods, etc
• Answering customers’ questions regarding plant material, plant care, and any other relevant topics
• Loading the customers’ vehicles
• Receiving new incoming product

Maintenance of Garden Center

• Cleaning of Garden Center on a daily basis, to include:
• Blowing off of all hardscapes, inside greenhouses, around gift store, and all gravel areas
• Standing up all plant material
• Picking up all stakes, tools, etc. that are not in use
• Cleaning of the water feature filter (weekly) and basket (daily)
• Taking out the trash
• Emptying out of all weed buckets
• Recycling of cardboard (weekly or when needed)
• Maintenance of bagged goods area
• Sanitizing and cleaning of gift store and bathrooms

Maintenance of Plant Material

• Responsible for maintenance of Rows 1, 2, and 3, to include:
  • Spacing of plant material on rows
  • Straightening of plant material
  • Weeding, pruning/trimming plant material
  • Blowing off of plant rows
  • Staking and pick up trees/shrubs
• Responsible for B&B grove
  • Ensuring all root balls have working watering plugs
  • Weeding B&B trees/grove
