Description

Green Biz Nursery and Landscaping is a leading landscape company specializing in the design, installation, and maintenance of high-quality irrigation systems. We are currently seeking an experienced Irrigation Foreman to lead our team in providing exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in irrigation system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, along with proven leadership skills to manage a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of the irrigation installation projects from initial planning to completion. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet or exceed quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and supervise a team of irrigation technicians and laborers. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training and support as needed to ensure high levels of productivity and quality workmanship.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during irrigation projects. Communicate project progress, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of irrigation systems, including design principles, water management, system components, and troubleshooting techniques. Ensure all installations comply with local codes and regulations.
  • Equipment and Inventory Management: Manage the procurement, maintenance, and operation of all tools, equipment, and inventory required for irrigation projects. Ensure resources are used efficiently and responsibly.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations among team members to prevent accidents and injuries. Conduct regular safety trainings and meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Irrigation Foreman or in a similar leadership role within the landscape or irrigation industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of irrigation systems, including design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to irrigation and landscaping.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Certification in irrigation or landscape technology is a plus.
